32,617 out of 77,901 examinees passed the Nursing Board Exam conducted last June 6 & 7, 2009. Among the successful passers were from Lugait, Misamis Oriental. See complete list below:

The Grade One pupils of Kaluknayan Elementary School as well as their proud parents and teachers were in high spirits when they received their backpacks full of school supplies on June 8, 2009, courtesy of The Lugaitnons, Inc., a non-profit organization composed of concerned Lugaitnons around the world.

The distribution of school supplies to the Beneficiary of "TLI's "Reach Out So They Can Reach Up" Project, which was originally set for June 1st, was moved to a later date on June 8, 2009 because the number of Grade One enrollees of the Kaluknayan Elementary School is still low according to Ms. Florelin Velarde- Bacatan, Grade I- Teacher-In-Charge of the said school. Normally in the area, the number of enrollees will pick-up after a week or two from the first day of class.
