  • Pakistan's flooded farms unable to be sown

Floodwaters are still swamping rich agricultural land in the southern provinces of Sindh and Punjab weeks after it lashed the country, killing about 1,600 and leaving about 20 million people affected by floods.The floodwaters that already devastated one crop in the fields are threatening the next season's crop as well, an aftershock aid workers fear could add to Pakistan's misery and prolong the crisis.
